During your 6 Days Tanzania Tented Camp Safari tour, you will visit some of the most beautiful and iconic parks and wildlife reserves in Northern Tanzania, like Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, which all have their own unique features and wildlife diversity.
Itinerary
As part of our 6 Days Tanzania Tented Camp Safari tour, we will visit Tarangire National Park for a wildlife drive and picnic lunch. In Tarangire, elephants and baobab trees are among the most famous features. Approximately 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras migrate through this area each year.
After leaving the highlands, we descend into the Serengeti National Park, an area of untamed Africa, passing through Karatu's stunning high-rising farms and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The highlands are left behind as we enter the Serengeti National Park which is known for its boundless grasslands. Next, we visit the Seronera area of the central park, one of the most lush and diverse areas of the Serengeti and home to the Seronera River, a major water source that attracts most of the species of the Serengeti. Lunch will be served at the Serengeti National Park and the afternoon will be spent on a wildlife drive.
Dinner and Overnight at Matawi Tented Camp or Intimate Seronera Camp
We will spend our entire day in the Serengeti National Park viewing game and watching predators follow closely behind the trekking animals.
Dinner and Overnight at Matawi Tented Camp or Intimate Seronera Camp
We will enjoy a day here for a game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Crater and stopping at Olduvai Gorge on the way back. If you are interested in history and the Masai tribes enjoying the on-route game, we will visit this amazing archaeological site. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or Ang'ata Luxury Tented Camp
In the early morning, we will descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day safari. Ngorongoro National Park supports a variety of animals with its year-round water supply and fodder, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
You may very well spot all five of the big five: lion, elephant, black rhinoceros, buffalo, plus other African mammals. There is a diverse range of habitats, each with its own wildlife and flora. While watching the hippos jostle for position in the water, you can stretch your legs and enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs. In the late afternoon, you will leave the crater floor and drive back to the Lodge at Karatu
We will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast for game drives. In this park, which is dominated by underground water forests and an alkaline lake where thousands of flamingoes can be spotted at certain times of year, you will spend a half day game viewing. After lunch, we will drive back to Arusha for drop-off.
